Weave – Edible Weeds and Small Footprint Living

Edible Weeds workshop with Annie Raser-Rowland, co-author of the best-selling “The Weed Forager’s Handbook: A Guide to Edible and Medicinal Weeds in Australia”.

Discover how to eat with a lower carbon footprint by using local weeds to create delicious and nutritious meals. You will learn how to identify common edible weeds, and how to harvest and cook with them.

Weave – Curating our Media Diet

We have more access to it than ever before, and so CAN have more influence on our worldviews and perceptions. If we believe that our ‘perceptions shape our reality,’ then what reality do we want to shape?

We will hear from Jeremy Carne, who is Hamish and Andy’s producer and the producer of the Collective Potential Podcast. He believe that videos are the most effective modern tool to awaken love in the largest amount of people, and that the shortest distance between two people is a smile. Over the last 15 years he’s been capturing real moments and fast approaching a collective audience of half-a-billion people!

Weave – The Art of Frugalism and Conscious Consumption

How do we consciously reduce our consumption so that it fuels our happiness and doesn’t deplete it, while reducing our footprint and impact on the greater world?

Anne is the co-author of the book, The Art of Frugal Hedonism, is a horticulturalist and artist, and works at CERES, giving people advice on how to grow lots of tomatoes. Annie and Adam Grubb, who runs Very Edible Gardens and co-founded Permablitz Melbourne wrote this book together.
